How to Use Chainfire 3D?

Using chainfire 3D is not a tedious task to perform. It is quiet easy and requires simple understanding of some technical terms. So, no need to go in-depth. Just follow some simple steps.

Assuming, you might have already installed Chainfire3D on you device, now you need to download plugins that will be used for changing GPU name of your device, as already mentioned, 3 plugins are available viz: Nvidia, Powervr and Qualcomm. Consider downloading all three of them. These plugins can be easily found on XDAForum.

Real task begins now 

• Open Chainfire3D and Go to ‘Install Plugins / Shaders. App will now search for available plugins. Once it list out all plugins, select any one of them to use as GPU name.

• Once shaders are configured navigate to ‘Default OpenGL Settings’, here is what app is known for. There may be a number of combinations that would work for your device. But, taking an example for running Temple Run, tick following: Reduce Texture Quality, Reduce Texture Size and Disable MapBuffer emu.

• Lastly select plugin what you have installed before. You can choose different combinations that works perfect for your device.

• Voila!!! Now, Open the game and test your configurations. If they are all set perfectly, your game would probably run and if not, try out some different combinations.

Note:- There are total two versions of Chainfire 3D available. If you opt for paid version, than you can configure your device for particular applications and not the system as a whole, and this you can do by going to ‘Per-app OpenGL settings’.
